Cremation

"Antyesti" literally means "last sacrifice", and refers to the funeral rites for the dead in Hinduism. This usually involves cremation of the body (Burning the dead). Traditionally, all Hindus, except babies, children, and saints, are cremated.
Different stages of this traditional ritual are depicted in this mini series.
